Children & Youth |

Lighthouse (3rd-5th graders)
Lighthouse meets each Sunday from 4:30 to 6:00pm in the Out of the Box room for a lesson and fun. Special activities are planned throughout the summer.
United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
UMYF is an organization of 6th - 12th graders that meets Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00pm for dinner and fellowship. The Youth are divided into Middle & Senior High for some activities and meet together for others. They do service projects, go on retreats, sponsor activities for children in the church, participate in Worship Services, and go on special mission work teams - such as Carolina Cross Connection.
Preschool
New Hope Preschool is a weekday program for children ages 24 months - pre-K. Hours are from 9 am - noon. A lunch bunch program is offered on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from noon - 1 pm. Children can come on a two, three, or five day plan. They follow the Forsyth County School schedule.
Scouting
New Hope is very active in the Scouting program with Cub Pack and Boy Scout troop as well as Girl Scout troop. Character building, service to God, family, church, and country are the hallmarks of scouting.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
One week (Sunday - Friday) during the summer is set aside for VBS. Each evening the children enjoy a light meal, Bible stories, crafts, games, singing, and fun activities for age 3 - 5th grade.
